Collection: One Divine Day
"This is quite possibly the best album of its kind... and it's kind of disc that should find fans outside of the power pop subgenre." - AbsolutePowerPop
"Each track is compelling and overall this album is a real treat for lovers of classic melodic rock." -Powerpopaholic

One Divine Day (originally titled "wunjo") is the first studio album by American rock band Oberon Rose, via ThouART Records.
Tommy Oberon and Rebecca Rose had at this time just moved from NYC to Woodstock, NY to focus on songwriting as a team. The original idea for the album was to produce a lofi psych/folk/pop record recorded entirely
on a cassette 4-Track.
And that was exactly how all of the songs were originally recorded. On a cassette 4-Track by Tommy at his home studio. While both Tommy and Rebecca loved the sound, in the end, they felt it sounded too much like a demo. So, the songs were re-recorded on Pro-Tools. A lot of the original 4-Track recording was maintained for the final record as they felt strongly about keeping the lofi sound that was originally intended for the record.
While recording One Divine Day, Tommy and Rebecca were living in the same cottage that Levon Helm lived in during the making of the Band's second album, The Band, in 1969. (The rustic fireplace bared the scars of Levon not wanting to go outside to chop firewood during the freezing Catskill winter, choosing instead to use the hearth as his chopping board.)
Although the recordings with Hirsch were not used on the album, Tommy learned a lot about recording and producing by working alongside a master like Hirsch. He took that knowledge and went on to record and produce the tracks himself at his home studio.
During this time Mike Keyes came in on drums and Chris Listorti joined on bass. This lineup went on to perform shows all over the northeast between 2015 and 2019.
