Holographic Blues is the third studio album from Oberon Rose, released in January 2021 via ThouART Records.
Following a period of shows and residencies throughout New York City and New England in support of Tell Me All About It, Tommy Oberon and Rebecca Rose turned their focus back to writing. The material that became Holographic Blues marked a shift toward more layered and involved compositions, expanding on the foundations of their earlier work.
Recording the album presented its own challenges. Working within the constraints of a DIY budget required a careful, inventive approach, particularly given the increased complexity of the songs. The result is a record that reflects both creative growth and persistence, capturing a moment where ambition and resourcefulness met head-on.
